Four conditions for having sex in your car -Police.
It is not a crime to have sex in your car and nobody has a right to harass you while doing so, Nigeria Police Force said on Tuesday .
The police, however, listed four conditions that could make such act not criminal.
“ Sex in a car in a public place is not a crime in Nigeria provided the location is not a place of worship; both persons are 18 years and above; the act is consensual (agreed to by both parties), and the parties are of the opposite sex”, Mr Abayomi Shogunle, Head of Police Public Complaints, Rapid Response Unit, said while responding to a question on Twitter.
He said anybody who meet these conditions and is being threatened with arrest for having sex in a car should report. “If threatened with an arrest over the above, please report to the police.”
A couple had been harassed by some people recently for having sex in a car and this generally a controversy on social media.
