Father Kills His Four Children, commits suicide.
A 35-year old man Archibong Patrick, on Tuesday killed his four children and also himself.
He killed the children in Alesha community near Port Harcourt, Rivers State while they were sleeping. He had driven away his wife from their two-room apartment before killing them and later hanged himself.
The four children were aged one, three, five and eight. The wife ran and cried for help from the neighbours, but it was late as Patrick killed them one after the other about 1 am.
He set the apartment ablaze and hanged committed suicide .
Nnamdi Omoni, Rivers State Police Command spokesman confirmed the incident. He said the remains of Patrick and his children have been removed by his men from their house.
